This is my second week linking up with Holly over at Twins Plus One and Allison from Twingle Mommy for their blog hop “What I love about Me”.
For those of my followers that are interested in joining this blog hop here's how it works -
Write a post about what you love about yourself this week and then add it to the linky list below. This is intended to be a time and place for each of us to stop criticizing ourselves for a few minutes and actually remind ourselves of the characteristics we are proud to own. So go ahead, look in the mirror, and see yourself through your loved one's eyes. Notice the beauty first. Here's your place to shine!
A few simple guidelines -
- Please follow the two hostesses. If you are a new follower, please comment so we can follow you too! :)
- We'd love it if you posted the button and the linky list, but it is not mandatory.
- Feel free to link to your homepage or your specific "What I Love About Me!" post. We want this to be a fun, relaxing hop so we'll accept all links as long as they are family-friendly. Thanks!
- The linky will be open all week so feel free to link-up on your own time!

What I love about me this week is that I am a wife. My husband and I had the opportunity to go to Weekend Marriage Retreat. The purpose of this retreat was to learn how to apply God’s plan for marriage to our relationship to ensure that we have a marriage that lasts until death do us part. We both really enjoyed this getaway.
The retreat was called A Weekend to Remember and was hosted by FamilyLife. Within the next few days I will a post entitled Love Like You Mean: An overview. In this post I will be highlighting some tips and resources that I learned about during the retreat.
Found you via Holly's bloghop! I like being a wife too... most of the time! :)
ReplyDeleteVisiting from the What I Love About Me bloghop! I think it's great that you both took time out to work on your marriage in a retreat style - it would have been so relaxing and nice just to have time to be with each other :)
ReplyDelete@Johanna: Thanks for following
ReplyDelete@Daisy, Roo and Too: Thanks for following. It was great to getaway and learn how to keep our love live and not to let it die. Our hope is that through this retreat, we will be able to get through the difficult times. We have been married for 2 years now and we don't want to become another statistic. We both take are vows seriously. We want to set an example for our son
