I Confess Friday

I confess that I am writing this post on Tuesday because I knew that I would be busy getting ready for my 21st birthday bash. I missed this hop last week and did not want to miss it two weeks in a row because I was busy.

I confess that I am anxious to find out what my friends got me for my birthday. I love presents. Don't worry I will share all about my birthday bash in Road to 21: The Celebration post. It will actually be a two part post. The first post will be my VIP Invite Only Party on last night and my second post will be about my Big Birthday Party Bash.

I confess that when it comes to my birthday celebration this year I have a strict and very import rule. My rule is that I will NOT be pressured into doing anything that I don't want to do. This means if I say that I don't want to drink any more or do something I mean it. I do not want to get so drunk that I do stupid things that I don't remember the next morning. Many 21 year olds don't care what happens on their 21st birthday because all they care about is getting drunk and having fun. I have a responsibility to show my son the right thing to do when it comes to drinking. Unlike most of my friends, I am a parent and I have parental responsibilities and making a good impression on my son is important.
