The Road to 21: The Celebration Part 1

On Thursday the big day finally arrived. It was my 21st birthday. It was a great day. I started the day off just doing some random errands that had to be done. Then in afternoon, while my husband (he went to work @ 2am on my birthday and got off @ 10:30am) and son took a nap my parents and I ran to Wal-Mart to get some last minute things for my party Friday night. After we were done at Wal-Mart, my parents took me across the street to Sunset Station to get my first players card.

With my first players card I got $3 free slot play. Now in order to get my free slot play I had to put $1 in the machine and it would play off my free slot play first. My Grandma sent me some crisp dollar bills for my birthday. The first machine I set down at and played I walked away with 2.05 off my free slot play only. I didn't even touch the dollar I put in.

The next machine I set down to play was a fabulous and lucky machine. I still had about 2 dollars of free slot play on my players card. So I played off that. All I did was put my dollar in to activate my free slot. I was just playing the machine and all of a sudden my dad said "Oh My Goodness". I looked at him and said what. He said look at your screen.

When I looked at my screen it was going crazy. It was showing me all the different ways that I had won. When I hit the cash out button after the machine added all my credits and I finished playing my free play, I had won a decent amount of money.

After cashing out this ticket I left. I wasn't going to push my luck any further.  Plus I had to slowly get ready for an appointment I had before my birthday dinner and my little party. My aunt had paid for me to get my hair cut and styled for my birthday. Before my hair appointment I went to Total Wine and More to check out some prices of some drinks for my birthday party. It was here at Total Wine and More that I made my first alcoholic purchase.  I bought little airline size bottles.

After my hair appointment, I met some friends at Fiesta Henderson for dinner and to get my second players card. We ate dinner at the buffet and then while my parents took my son to the arcade my husband, my friends and I played a little. I didn't have any luck at this machines. My husband won $4. My friends had a little luck not much. My friends husband won $45 dollars before dinner, but didn't win much after dinner.

When we left the Fiesta, we headed down to Downtown Las Vegas (also known as Fremont Street), to hang out and listen to some music. It was on Fremont Street that I bought my first alcoholic drink from a bar. My first drink of choice was a Sex on a Beach.

Just for the record I didn't drink the whole thing. Me and my mom split it and had some left. I had a good time down on Fremont Street hanging out and making memories.
