Preschool Adventures: Week 3 Update

So my little man has been going to preschool four days a week for the 3 weeks now (except for labor day of course that was a three day week, but no big deal). He has really enjoyed himself. By the end of the second week of school we got over the tears and now we just walk in and he gives me a kiss and says I see you later mom.

The preschool he attends as monthly parent meetings. Since this is the beginning of the school year they have had 2 already. The first one was to let parents know about the parent meetings and what they were for. The second meeting was to meet the candidates for Parent Meetings President and Vice President. And of course, I am running for Parent Meetings President or Vice President. I will find out next week if I get elected. (I will let you know as soon as I know)

After my speech and as we were walking out of the building, I was able to meet and connect with a new mom. The way it sounded was that they just moved to Las Vegas from Texas. She has a daughter in the pre-k program and another adorable daughter who was about 6-8 months. Her youngest daughter has a heart defect, since she has no car I offer to give her a ride to school anytime the weather was bad.

Below is more artwork that my son has brought home. He gets so excited to show me what he has made at school. One day this week he brought a piece of paper home that was all cut up on the edges. He was so excited to learn how to cut with preschool style scissors.

He has also made so many friends in his class. That when we picked him up yesterday, everyone in the class was saying "bye James see you tomorrow."
