So it turns out that the week my son was sick there was no Family Storyteller class. Which is good, because it means that he didn't miss out. Since, I am slow in updating my blog recently you get two weeks worth of Story activities in one post.
Week 2:
The featured book this week was "Brown Brown Bear, What Do You See." This week's format was a little different then the first because they facilitator read the book and then taught the children the "Teddy Bear Teddy" Rhyme and then re-told the story using a flannel board.

Week 3:
This week's featured story was "The Very Hungry Caterpillar." This week was just like week one. The facilitator read the book and then went over the take home activities and the activity they were going to make at during the class. She also talked about why she loves this book. This book is perfect to teach kids about the days of the week, counting, Fruit and eating healthy and you can also use this book to introduce the life cycle of a butterfly.
