The day has finally arrived...I started my student teaching today. I had a great first day. Since I am majoring in Elementary Education with a concentration in Special Education, I have two cooperating teachers. I get to split my 16 week Student Teaching up into 8 weeks in Special Education and 8 weeks in General Education. So my first 8 weeks is in Special Education with a full Inclusion Resource teacher. My cooperating teacher and I clicked and bonded right away. I even got to work with a few students right away today. In my opinion it was an ideal first day, except for the aching feet at the end of the day.
