Weekend Rewind: Halloween Weekend

Well another weekend has come and gone. This week was full of fun, excitement and even a little craziness. Our weekend started like any other weekend. Friday was a day filled with errands and even a family movie night complete with pizza and popcorn.

Saturday of course was filled with some fun. Not just any fun but some Halloween fun. My Saturday morning started around 7:30 am when my little man came walking into my room, going Mommy it is time to get up. Gotta love the little ones and their adorableness.

When my husband and I finally got up and got dressed. We started our Family day with our biweekly trip to Lowe's for their Kid's Build and Grow clinic. Now if you have never heard of Lowe's Build and Grow clinics they are a blast. It is a free kid's clinic the 2nd and 4th Saturday of every month. They are free and the kids love them. You can click here for more information.

Then our local public library was having their annual Halloween Extravaganza. So of course we had to take my little man who absolutely loves the library to that. It just so happened to be that in the same parking lot as our library that their was a Community Safety Expo going on. So of course since my son and husband saw fire trucks and police cars we had to go over and check it out. We ended up spending about 2 hours walking around and having some fun. (Click here to see pictures from the weekend) Then of course our Saturday night wrapped up with a trip to church for our weekly time with God.

Sunday started out like any other Sunday until we tried to make the journey from Henderson to Summerlin for a Safe Trick or Treating event. On our way to the event our transmission went out in our car. So now we are starting the week with a huge amount of stress, because it is going to cost more to fix it than the car is worth and of course we can't afford to buy a car. So unfortunately, we are currently carless.

As you can see "life is either a daring adventure or nothing at all."
