January Adventures

So I haven't exactly shared about our adventures weekly like I planned. But for one, nothing to exciting happens every week and for two I am still trying to get use to having a newborn in the house again and finding balance between feeding her and being able to get things done. So here's a recap of some of the exciting things that happened during this month. 

On January 5th, we got to celebrate Leo's (a friend's sons) 3rd birthday at Flip N Out Extreme, an indoor trampoline park here in town. Birthday parties are always fun, but we enjoyed blowing off a little extra energy. 

We had some nice weather and got to spend some time outside exploring are neighborhood. My cousin who lives in Wisconsin came home to Vegas and came to spend a few hours hanging out with us and loving on his newest 2nd cousin. 

The potty was reintroduced and Aaron has now said goodbye to diapers during the day when we are home, except at nap time. Aaron loves to sit on his potty while he watches tv and sometime even eats. 

We celebrate our Little Princess turning 1 month old with a little celebration since we didn't have a baby shower because we had most of the basic items. Our Little Princess has even gained 2 pounds in her first month, because at her 1 month check up she was 7 pounds 13 ounces, obviously the breast milk is doing her good. 

Can't forget about our chance to enjoy a beautiful day in the desert with some friends while having some fun on the quads. This will be a memorable day, as on my first ever quad ride I went off what is known as a razorback and not only flipped the quad but myself off the quad as well. Thankfully all that happened was a bruised/skinned up thigh. It was a fun day. 

On top of all of these adventures we dealt with daily life adventures of going back to school after Winter Break, the two boys have a 24 Tummy Virus, and the oldest catching the flu. All in all 2019 is off to a great start in our family and we are looking forward to the rest of the year and more adventures.
