Hello my faithful followers,
Welcome to week 5 of "What I Love About Me" hosted by Twins Plus One and Twingle Mommy! I have really enjoyed this hop. To join this hop you can visit either of the hosts for information or read the rules below.
Here's how it works -
Write a post about what you love about yourself this week and then add it to the linky list below. This is intended to be a time and place for each of us to stop criticizing ourselves for a few minutes and actually remind ourselves of the characteristics we are proud to own. So go ahead, look in the mirror, and see yourself through your loved one's eyes. Notice the beauty first. Here's your place to shine!
A few simple guidelines -

What I Love About Me this week: I am a mother.
I know that this is a simple thing, but I wouldn't trade my son for anything in the world. I love when I get to spend one-on-one time with my son. Which considering I only have one child, is very easy. (No offense to you Moms of Multiples.)
My son and I get to spend one on one time at least once a day, sometimes most of the day. Our favorite things to do are crafts, read together, do educational activities. On Thursday of last week, I took him to story time at library and I have signed him up for a couple of different programs at the library. During story time I was able to help him create a craft.
The latest Mother/Son time we had was on last night when I took him to see a movie Cars 2. He loved the movie and was so happy to see it that after the movie he looked at me gave me a hug and said "I love you, Mommy. Thank you for bringing me to see Cars 2." If you have not seen Cars 2 it is a great movie. It has a great balance of humor for parents and action for children.
Another thing that I love about me is how I have really kept up with my goal to blog more and how I have become more involved in blogging and using twitter. One of the ways I have gotten more involved in using twitter is by linking up with Brittany from Changing Diapers and Taking Names. She has a great twitter hop on Mondays. Below is a quote from her blog about her Momday Mondays Twitter Hop and its purpose.
"Enjoy finding new twitter friends while taking the time to do something special for yourself! There are no rules; however, if you would like to share on twitter, use the hashtag #momdaymonday, and list something you like to do for yourself when you get some "quiet time." If you are not a mom, still join and list something you link to do for your mom to make her feel special! Also feel free to grab a button!"
